What To Do Halloween 2018 in Cape Town

It’s that time of the year again. Time to get to the local costume hire shop, china mall, or even just the back of your cupboard where you are hoarding those favourite items from the 90’s. Its the time of the year where the streets and clubs start filling up with scantily dressed nurses and cowgirls and blood stained zombies.

Cape Town has picked up this annual fest in a way that only Cape Town would; absolutely and completely in! And we thought we would take a look at the best parties to get to this weekend.

So, grab your fake blood, find those fishnets and let’s get a bit creepy!

Give No Cuffs - Prison House of Rebels

The latest hangout in Green Point is doing Halloween in their own, unique way this year, and what is a better way to spend Halloween, than in Prison. Well Prison, House of Rebels that is. Taking to the stage that night will be blues rocking, Jonny Deville, and right after him, the band that seems to be taking Cape Town by storm, The Toast.

Dress up, don’t dress up. Wear make-up, don’t wear make-up (although that would be halloween on its own for most of us), there will be no cuffs given at Prison. It’s all about being yourself and letting your hair loose and dancing the night away to the epic sounds of the liove music!

Don’t forget your free drink with Clink!

Where: Prison, House of Rebels; GreenPoint

When: Saturday 27 October 2018

Participants of the Walk will start at the top of Paddock Avenue inside the Company Gardens. They will then proceed to enter Government Avenue and head East towards Wale Street. You will eventually land up in Machau Street, just over Ribeek afterwhich, you can head up to Green Point for the various parties!

MCQP: Presents Halloween

Two of the hottest and most popular clubs in the Mother City, TAU and Crew Bar, will be combining forces to co-host the ultimate Halloween party to be at this year, taking place on Friday, 26 October.

And the highlight of the evening at the MCQP: Presents Halloween event? The announcement of the official theme of the end-of-year MCQP party (taking place on Saturday, 15 December) at the ghoulish Pumpkin Hour. “Whether you’re in TAU or Crew, you won’t miss out, thanks to massive screens and outstanding sound equipment in both venues. The most grotesque creature of them all will rise from the underworld to make the announcement that everyone is waiting for - the annual party highlight of the year on everyone’s calendar.”

(Super)naturally, wearing a costume to MCQP: Presents Halloween is mandatory for the fang-tastic event of haunting howling fun.
