2. For the funny foodie: NOMAD Bistro & Bar

Pull in to the city bowl for Christmas & Comedy at NOMAD Bistro and Bar, where Chantal Jax and Eugene Matthews take to the stage in A Funny Farewell while guests tuck into a delicious three-course meal made up of various homey options that bring to light the spirit of a family fun Christmas. From the delicate salt and pepper calamari to rich bollywood kadai (made with vegetable Paneer, chicken, beef, ostrich or springbok!), pork ribs and decadent brownies, NOMAD's Christmas lunch and dinner menu is sure to satisfy.

5. For the family foodie: The Foodbarn

This Noodhoek favourite pleases the palatte and the parents. Here free range children can have fun on the jungle gym, old tractor, in the sandpit or the playhouse, all within a closed-in outdoor play section, which is shared with Café Roux. A specialized three-course kiddies menu complements the four-course foodie feast for adults.
