CTEX: Restaurants and Dining Awards 2019

On Thursday 28 February 2019, it was truly a sad day for the team, we just didn't want this all to end. Even with the drizzle and rain it didn't scare away our excited nominees from attending our final and biggest awards evening yet. We had restaurant owners, chefs, GMs and many more familiar friendly faces from the Restaurant industry mingling together. While the clouds cleared away, we made new industry friends while sipping on drinks and receiving snack plates from our sponsors. We decided to take the time to recognize and award the Restaurants and Dining industry of Cape Town. The mother city has a truly magical foodie industry and the explosion of creativity, broad offerings and quality, has allowed some of the restaurants in this region to rival the very best in the world.

The delightful Nomad Bistro & bar went all out for us when hosting these events, with the night proceeding better than expected as guest after guest entered the red carpet.

Reaching the final evening for the Cape Town Experiences Awards 2019, the team are left smiling and chuffed with ourselves. Once our hosts, Sachi Okada and Kolping Mbumba got on stage, the energy shifted to absolute eagerness. They kept the audience hooked as winner after winner received their awards. Lastly, let us take a moment to thank all our sponsors from the bottom of our hearts. Nomad Bistro & Bar, Cash Flow Capital, Newlands Spring, Hunters, Sierra Tequila, Prison: House of Rebels and Cape Town Fashion Collective for allowing us to create these events with some style.
